Where should we start?

WhiskyFest

  • Where should we start?
  • I've already started. (No, that isn't me, but it IS a friend of mine...)
  • The first three.
  • Unlike WF2008, several of the booth babes were really booth babes. They could pour, but they couldn't explain what they were pouring.
  • On the other hand, this guy could explain what he was pouring, but wasn't nearly as enjoyable to look at.
  • Tall, tan, curvaceous, slender, seductively smooth, fruity and rich.<br />
I don't know about her.
  • Auchentoshen. Nic. He knew his stuff. The three wood was nice. Very nice.
  • Yes, this booth babe had wings. For some reason, getting to this booth wasn't easy, and getting a picture was even more difficult. Perserverance, babe.
  • JD Tennessee Honey. Sorry. I'll stick with mint juleps.

  • The food wasn't as good as I'd remembered from 2008, but there was plenty of it.
  • You wouldn't understand, but they do.
  • Whistle Pig straight rye whiskey. This was good.
  • I actually handed off the camera, believe it or not. Angelo from Jack Daniels.
  • What does this have to do with whisky? Look at the detailing - Ardbeg.
  • Mike adds another dimension to taking the pictures of the photographer. Pic of the pic of the photographer.
  • What was on the menu? Lots. More than anybody could want to try in one sitting - er - standing.
  • The last time I was at the Hyatt (WhiskeyFest 2008) I was frustrated because I didn't have the right camera. This time, I had the right camera. The only problem was that they didn't have the lights on in the windows in the bar area. But the fountains were lit.

  • Audrey III avoided Mike and went straight for the guy with the hat.
