  • The back room of the Eagle and Child has a wall dedicated to Lewis and Tolkien. This isn't the same back room in which they met; the pub has been extended back and you pass through that room -- the Rabbit Room -- on the way to this one. This is the non-smoking section, which made me feel better since I didn't bring any of my pipes.
